Chapter 17
Di had utterly no idea what the night would bring and frankly she really didn't care, just as long as she got to spend it in Teddy's warm embrace. Their first and only date had thus far been short of a fairytale. He picked her up in a super stretch limo and whisked her off to a quaint five star restaurant where they were the only occupants other than the staff. Everything was first class and they were treated like royalty as the waiters and waitresses catered to their every whim.
A violinist played softly as they consumed course after course of delicious French cuisine prepared by world renowned French chef, Pierre Verona. Teddy was so suave and charming and amazingly a good conversationalist. He was such an easy person to relate to and surprisingly an excellent listener. He was intelligent, charismatic and articulate. This spoiled self-professed playboy was definitely worldly and they talked about everything from politics to flower gardening. Di found it hard to believe that this easy spirited man had a net worth of almost a quarter of a billion dollars.
She found it even harder to believe that this delicious, fine, specimen of manhood was captivated by her. Like a moth to a flame his gaze was drawn to her. Searching the deepest crevices of her soul for what only he knew. Teddy was obviously infatuated and definitely intrigued to discover more. Judging by the enormous bulge in his pants he was definitely ready to discover the color and taste of her thong.
“They're sky blue.” She teased as she watched the light dance in his eyes as he continued to categorize and inventory every minute detail of her being.
“Excuse me... What is sky blue?”
“My bra and my thong.” She smiled as she took a sip of the expensive imported wine Teddy had insisted upon ordering.
Caught completely off guard the debonair Teddy almost choked on his bite of food. Coughing and laughing simultaneously he advised, “You may want to warn a brother in the future before you offer sensitive information like that, but thank you. I guess that's one less thing to consider as our night progresses.”
“Why are you so shocked?” She toyed with him.
Finally regaining his composure he smiled and responded. “I'm not shocked. I'm just rarely wrong. I was pretty sure that they were periwinkle blue.”
“Why would I choose periwinkle when sky blue is your favorite color?”
Teddy casually wiped his mouth with the linen table napkin and eyed the stunningly beautiful young woman before tossing it on the table to cover his plate. It was obvious that she like all his other dates had done her homework and researched him.
“Name something else that you heard that I like.” He smiled, intrigued to see if she was going to play the lady or the tramp card.
She grinned as she found their little game of cat and mouse had just gotten interesting.
“I hear that you are pretty fond of cats.” Di giggled.
